Photoshop CC 2015 - MacOS 10.10 not remembering Open dialog sizes

Mac OS X 10.10.1 : if I change the size of the Open dialog, it is not retained at the subsequent opening of a file. It reverts to default.

This behaviour was not present in CC2014.

The OS open and save dialog sizes are maintained by the OS, not by the application.

Try trashing the OS settings file for that dialogs: ~/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.photoshop.plist

This will reset the size and location of the OS open, save, and print dialogs.

Also, you need to install the MacOS updates to pick up all of Apple's bugfixes - you should be on 10.10.5.

I'm afraid that trashing the Prefs didn't change anything. Photoshop is still not remembering Open dialog sizes. It's the only app on my system which isn't.

I have put together a small screencast. You will see that each time I open a file, the dialog is reset to its smallest size, and is located in the lower left of the screen, despite my having previously enlarged and moved it.

Did you trash the OS plist file I mentioned, or the Photoshop preferences (which have nothing to do with the OS dialogs) ?

Because the OS open and save dialogs are handled entirely by the OS, you would have to ask Apple about problems with those dialogs.
