Sometimes, when i try to move layers by mouse or keyboard arrows, Photoshop CC 2015 answers with a program error dialog.

Are you moving something in particular?
Does this happen only on certain documents?

Do you have any third party plugins or extension panels installed?  If so, have you tried disabling them?

Hi Chris,

Nothing in particular, just trying to move a bunch of layers.
It happens from tome to time, with different psds.
only way to get on with my work is to close all files and restart photoshop.
then its working again.

i cant remember installing any plugins. where can i check that?

cheers

You can check the plugins and extensions in Help -> System Info.

And there has to be something specific about what you are doing - otherwise everyone would be seeing the same problem (and they're not).

No Plugins installed.
And sorry, really nothing specific. Just trying to move around some layers.

This bug happens from time to time. As i know how to fix it (restart photoshop), i will continue to fix it like that.

I just wanted to let you at Adobe know that this is happening somewhere in the world :)
And Maybe i am not the only one or you know situations, where this can happen and i can prevent from that.

Do you know these dialogs that i posted? Translation:
"The move tool could not be used, because of a program error"
"Could not move the data because of a program error"

thanks

Those are generic "we don't know what went wrong" messages.
The details would be in your Photoshop preferences folder in the file PSErrorLog.txt.
