Photoshop CC 2015: Holding Space key for Hand tool sticks

When holding Space for quick Hand tool the tool gets sticky after releasing the Space. The scenario:
1. I have large canvas zoomed in.
2. I have some tool selected (Text, Marquee, or any other).
3. Press and hold Space for quick switching to Hand tool.
4. Drag canvas to a desired position while holding Space key.
5. Release the Space key.
6. After that the Hand tool remains active and canvas being dragged even without holding mouse button. Even though in Tools panel I still see the previous tool selected (Text, Marquee, or any other).
7. Only pressing Space again turns off Hand tool and stops canvas from being dragged.

It is especially apparent when working with large canvases with lots of layers.

I'm using Photoshop CC 2015.0.1 on Mac OS 10.10.5 (MacBook Pro).
Sticky keys are turned off on my preferences. And system performance shouldn't be an issue (16 GB RAM, 2,3 GHz Intel Core i7, NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB).

Howdy Artem,

What kind of mouse are you using?

Any chance you could record your screen and post it here so I can see what you're seeing?  Or, we could do a web-hosted, screenshare.

Let me know,
Thanks,
David

David,
when I started to notice it I thought that it might be keyboard/mouse problem.
But it repeats over and over again in different combinations: apple keyboard (I tried two of them) + apple mouse, macbook keyboard + apple mouse, macbook keyboard + macbook trackpad. Everywhere I experience the same problem in Photoshop.

Here is the screen recording:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3GB...

Here I show that while having Marquee tool selected I press and hold Space key to drag the canvas. In first case you can see that when I release the mouse button and Space key (when black circle from my screen record disappears) the Hand tool is still visible, even though in Tools panel you can see Marquee still selected.

Then starting from 0:30 I recreate a case when I release the Space AND the mouse button at the time when I drag the canvas, and the Hand tool is not only visible, but it also continues to drag canvas with my mouse cursor. NOTICE: I do not hold neither Space key, nor mouse button after 0:30, I just move my mouse and the canvas follows.

Actually, screen recording tool in this case could point to the fact that it might be OS problem, as after 0:30 screen recording continues to show black circle following cursor, though I do not hold mouse button at this time (my screen recording tool usually identifies only clicks in this way, so according to screen record it might seem like I'm holding mouse button, but in reality I'm not).

Anyway, the issue should be address somehow, as I do not experience any similar problems with mouse/keyboard in other applications.

Let me know if any extra information is needed to help to address the issue.

Howdy Artem,

Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you.

This is really odd.  Not only do I not see this, but based on your screen capture, I shouldn't see this either.  It sounds like you've tried several different combinations of Mac and pointing device, all of which manifest the problem.  What other apps do you have installed?  What other pointing sidecar apps do you have?  Even if they're not in use, they could be interfering...  Also, what other apps do you have running at the same time?

I have heard no other, similar problems, so this issue can't be very wide-spread, leading me to believe that there's another trigger required to trigger it.  I'd like your help trying to track that trigger down so we can fix this.

Thanks,
David

See the solutions here to help find the conflict: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/...

Usually a conflict caused by an extension or another application.
