Since upgrading Photoshop CC to 2015 (Windows 7 64 bit) when I try to print an image the program stops working and asks to close. I had no problem prior to updating

What does the detailed crash report say? (check the system event viewer or reliability reports)

Crashes in ntdll usually come from third party code. So this may be another case of the printer driver crashing.
Resetting Photoshop's preferences (to clear the last used printer information) may clear it up.

We'll have to see if we can reproduce the problem.
What printer make and model are you using?

Thanks Chris I really appreciate your help, I'm using an Epson Artisan 1430 Inkjet and a Samsung CLP680N Laser printer. I've also found that most JPG files will print (smaller file size) but the larger TIFF and PSD files cause the crash

Thanks again Chris, resetting the preferences seems to have cleared the problem. I've just printed 2 large TIFF files without problem. Your help is much appreciated.

OK, so it sounds like one of the problems we've seen before with some printer drivers failing to read their previous settings.
