Photoshop CC 2015 CC latest update libraries slow

Hi,

I just upgraded my Photoshop CC 2015 and my libraries are running extremely slow. I had the same file running before the upgrade and it was fine. After the upgrade, the same file now takes me a lot longer to open and to use the library panel. I believe the libraries are related to the slow opening of the file since everything else seems ok.

I tried restarting my machine and Photoshop and it didn't help. It now takes me at least 5 minutes waiting per library item to add to my file. I've also tried turning sync off in my Creative Cloud. This is super frustrating. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

5 Mins? My library updates take hours, very frustrating, time-consuming and brings work flow and creativity to a complete standstill.

Is your internet connection stable?

If in stable you mean not getting knocked offline and such, yes it's pretty stable. If you can recommend anything I could do to expedite the process i would be grateful.

After a new update today to my Mac and Photoshop, plus changing Photoshop to open files in low resolution, this is now fixed for me.

I'm glad you found a resolve, I'm still in the waiting line.

Not sure how much RAM you have on your machine, but checking this for me helped a lot. Do you have an older machine? 1 hour sounds like it could be a hardware problem.

Nope brand new machine 16 gb of ram, I figured something out though by creating new folders in the library, seems to be working for  now.

Ram has nothing to do with your Creative Cloud Libraries updating within Photoshop, that is completely dependent on your internet connection; at the most you should wait all of up to 5 seconds for things to update. If you are waiting longer then 5 seconds, something is interfering, and considering there is a plethora of things that could be going on with your system that is something you would have to investigate.
