Photoshop CC 2015 and Mac OS X 10.11 El Captain: Choppy gradients?

After updating to OS X 10.11 gradients are not smooth any more. Instead of being seamless gradient changes gradually step by step. It look likes as if image would be 8 bit depth, but it is 16 bit (I'm sure, as I'm getting obsessed with checking it to assure myself, that I'm working in 16 bit that look like 8 bit).

I notice this working with black and white images in RGB color space (not Grayscale). Maybe the problem preserves with color images too, but it's very hard to notice such things in color, so maybe issue is only with b&w, IDK.

Anyone noticing this too?

The gradient calculation doesn't change with OS version.
The only things that could change is the display profile, and the video card driver. So check your display profile, and maybe try a different profile.

Okay, if so, could anything of these change along with OS update? Cause I haven't done any changes for sure.

The display profile and the video card driver could both get changed with an OS update. And we know that the video card driver changed significantly due to new bugs in MacOS 10.11. We're documenting the MacOS 10.11 bugs for Apple as quickly as we can.
