Photoshop CC 2015.5: Incosistencies with settings/options. Sometimes they stay, most times they dont.

Posting this again because I don't know exactly where the original post is (Community Home?) but it should be here, in Photoshop.

Experiencing inconsistencies with a few settings and want to know if they're bugs or intended behaviors.
Direct Select Tool:
will not retain the checkbox option for 'Constrain Path Dragging' in the Options Bar. I have keep turning it ON because it won't stay checked. There is no constistency in this behavior, on the ocassional day, maybe 10% of the time, it'll be ON but otherwise I have to reselect it over and over.
Pen Tool:
randomly changes Path Operations mode in the Options Bar. I use it almost exclusively in 'Exclude Overlapping Shapes' mode, can't remember the last time I manually changed it but still I find myself having to change it back at least a few times a week, sometimes more, sometimes less. Unless there's some hard-coded shortcut assigned to it that I'm hitting inadvertently, I've no idea why it won't stay set to what it's been told.
checkbox option for 'Use Legacy' won't stay selected and has to be reselected every time.
Edit > Transform > all sub-menu items:
checkbox option for 'Maintain aspect ratio' won't stay selected. Don't know if anyone's ever mentioned to you guys (for 10 years) or not, but you should look into it. Incredibly, insanely, unbelievably irritating behavior on this one, up to hundreds of times daily, every day.
