Where do we go to report crashing on launch issues? The Photoshop CC 2015 from a few months ago is still working for me, but the new update hits a problem loading the ScriptingSupport plugin, and then crashes, even after having used the Cleaner Tool to remove old versions.

Here is a screen recording, and the crash log:

You should create a new topic, and include the details of your crashes.

If ScriptingSupport is having a problem, you may need to uninstall and reinstall the application, or remove an errant second copy of Scripting Support you copied over by mistake.

This is a great conversation that's separate from the main one, so I created a new conversation to continue the discussion.

Please reference the new conversation here: PHOTOSHOP CC 2015 - Crashing on launch with scripting support errors

I just downloaded the most recent Photoshop cc 2015 update. It crashes upon launching on my iMac. Adobe admits to a problem and says they are working on fixing the bug. Anyone else?

I had to revert back to PS CC 2014. New version took 3 minutes to load and used over 5GB of memory, barely usable, and slowed my Windows 7 64 bit to a crawl.

Nope, no changes have been made. But if you chose to remove preferences when uninstalling, it would have reset all your presets to the defaults, and removed whatever large presets you had loaded previously.

I had the defaults, never changed them, so not sure what occurred on the 3rd reinstall

Apparently there is something quirky going on with PS. I tried all of the settings, that didn't work. I uninstalled it, updated my AMD Radeon driver, shutdown, reinstalled. Still same issue. Uninstalled it again, shutdown reinstalled made sure all of the those settings were correct. No luck. Uninstalled, then installed PS 2014, that was fine. A few hours later I reinstalled 2015 again. It started right up, no error on the Graphics Processor, which by the way is checked. So now it's working fine, have no idea why.

Sounds like an intermittent bug in the video card driver, or something that needed an OS restart to clean up when upgrading the driver.

I did restart after upgrading the driver and reinstalled twice after that with no luck.

Nice work. Now pray tell me: where is Photoshop 2015.2, the yet to come update in which you will give us all the old interface?

Guys, hello. I respect huge work was made on product. But new UI is really bad. Seriously. Input fields now are not noticeable at all. I can't understand right now if random field is disabled or it's active. Difference between states is barely visible. You have different style for same dropdowns in one panel ("Character" panel for example). It's just bad work with UI basics. I understand you want to make interface nice and clean, but this is that point when aesthetic is overweight usability. New interface became more complex to use exactly because of it's visual simplicity. It's ok to experiment with such things in some landing page or art project. But in everyday interface it became just unusable bunch of pixels. It's just doesn't work. Right now i'm roll back to previous version of Photoshop as a lot of your clients.

How can I go back to Photoshop 2014? Photoshop 2015 is very very slow and freezes up during random applications. It also takes forever to start.
