Are your servers overloaded? I get nothing but download errors and the retry button on the 2015.01 update. CC updater seems to fail about 25% of the time for one reason or another.

If the damn thing is just going to say Press Retry or "Contact Customer Support" a direct link would make sense. At least it didn't completely kill photoshop this time.

Called customer support. Had to manually (go into system folders) uninstall the CC App and re-install it (after waiting a couple hours because Adobe's servers were dead and I couldn't download the CC App installer.).

The CC App basically sucks. I've had to do major surgery and spend a ton of time with support 3x now for different CC problems. Once I had to uninstall and re-install every Adobe CC app because of corrupt "inventroy." It's an embarrassment (and probably bad for business). The subscription model is fine except for the amateur implementation.

I was on chat with them and still won't update. The person said they had to send the issue to another department then the chat was lost

I got help from chat support. They had me manually uninstall the CC app (by dragging folders specific system folders to the trash - not using Windows uninstaller) and then reinstall the app. You have to be careful though. Toss the wrong folder (e.g. "inventory") and you have to re-install all your CC apps. Of course, I couldn't download the CC app installer for 3 hours because their servers were dead.

My 2nd chat finally fixed the problem. They took control of my cpu deleted a couple of things. It's just a shame that the 1st person that helped me said she had to send it to another area. The guy I had today was awesome. Everything upgraded and working

Would I be better off holding off from the last until they get the bugs fixed on this one? Hate to see critical workflow disturbed again.
Already feeling burned by the Save for Web issue...

Awesome! Now, is there ever going to be a fix for the on-the-verge-of-being-seizure-inducing flicker? The whole GPU mode changing does next to nothing to solve the problem except make the selection flicker instead of the background.

What OS/version are you on? What card do you have? What driver are you using?

Windows 10 (started prior to upgrade from Windows 7). HD Graphics 3000. All drivers updated to newest. Was told to upgrade my RAM to 8gb (waiting for it to arrive since I planned to do it anyway) and it should solve the problem despite numerous others with the same issue that have their RAM maxed out. As an aside: My previous comment came across more griping than I intended. Sorry about that. I'm annoyed, but not not at anyone in particular.
