Photoshop CC 2014 & Wacom Intuos 4: Communication Issue - August 2014

1. I recently updated my Mac OS X 10.8 to Mavericks (10.9)
2. Prior to updating to OS X 10.9 my PS CC 2014 and Wacom worked flawlessly
3. Since the update there is a communication issue between PS CC 2014 and my tablet. I cannot use the tablet pen at all, however
4. I have no issues with Wacom and Lightroom 5.6 and other software
5. My Wacom drivers are the latest 6.3.8-2

Looking for suggestions as to what to try.

Check with Wacom, they may have more information on how to clear up issues with their driver software.

Hi Chris, thanks for the reply. Yes, I also sought Wacom advice and they very promptly replied to my e-mail with solution advice and procedures. Basically the end result was I had to delete all occurrences of a Tablet or Wacom Tablet folder using the Wacom uninstall app and then do a clean install of the appropriate driver.

Their advice worked, Photoshop, Lightroom and my other software are all communication now.

Good to hear. It was probably some older bit of a driver or preference left around that caused problems.
