It just says"Photoshop CC 2014 has stopped working"
In fact it won't even open the print options window.

Uh, no - that won't help.

We need the detailed crash report, from the system event viewer, or the reliability report.

Thanks for looking at this. Adobe tech could not fix it. Spent about 3 hours on it. Here is the crash report (?) the tech pasted into the chat log?? I have absolutely no idea what this means!

The crash in the system ntdll.dll means that the problem was most likely in the printer driver and how it called the OS.

The Adobe Tech give it a good try. I re-installed the HP printer with no luck. Even though PS CC 2014 still crashes, My PS CS prints fine. HP says the printer is too old for HP tech support.
At least my Dell Laser and Samsung laser printers work fine with PS CC 2014 and I have a work around with PS CS. Has anyone had this problem and fixed this conflict?

Photoshop CS uses older printing APIs.
Photoshop CC 2014 uses newer printing APIs, which seem to have problems in some printer drivers.

Did HP have a newer version of the driver?

I went into HP printer advance preferences and selected 'New Drivers" > my printer. Nothing happened. I tried PS CC 2014 again. A different "Print Options' window popped up and it printed....Twice.
it must have been the driver as you suspected.
I am going to have a shot of Captain Morgan and not worry about it until tomorrow
I thank you Criss for for staying with me on this. Here is a print for your viewing pleasure. upright fishing boat in the Solomon Islands
