Hi,
My photoshop stops working every few minutes, it often seems to happen after I have cut out an object from a back ground and I am zooming in or out to check.
I get lots of red lines over the objects and thought it might be graphics drivers but card is relatively new about 6 months and it has latest drivers, photoshop is bang up to date and all my windows updates have been done.

Report from system event is as follows sugesting it is not a hardware fault.

Faulting application name: Photoshop.exe, version: 15.2.2.310, time stamp: 0x5480338c
Faulting module name: Photoshop.exe, version: 15.2.2.310, time stamp: 0x5480338c
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x000000000131a46c
Faulting process id: 0x938
Faulting application start time: 0x01d057f31db58a20
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2014\Photoshop.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2014\Photoshop.exe
Report Id: 4bf2acc4-c3e9-11e4-b11f-902b3456d838..

As I am in the middle of creating a brochure with hundreds of products which need to be cut out of backgrounds and photo shop is crashing every 20 minutes or so this is becoming a nightmare.. any suggestions would be greatfully received.

Red lines over things does sound like a video card driver issue.
Did you update the drivers from the GPU maker's website? Updating from Microsoft tends to get drivers that are several years out of date.

The crash report doesn't look like one of our top 30 Windows crashes - so I don't have any details on it (unfortunately Windows Error Reporting is not nearly as clear and quick to process as Mac crash reports).

I get red lines and get this report. There is a spike in the hard drive when the crash occurs. How and why I do not know.
Updated drivers for grapics card and it still occurs.

Crashes in ntdll.dll are usually due to bugs in drivers or third party plugins.
