Photoshop CC 20.0.6: Imacon 3F plugin not working

I have repeatedly tried to load the Imacon (Hasselblad) 3f plugin into Photoshop CC 20.0.6, with no luck.  I retrieved the plugin from the Hasselblad website.  I can see the files when go to Open,  but 3f is not an option n the list of format. If I try to load the file using All Format, there is a error message with instruction to update Camera Raw.  My goal is to convert the 3f to dng.  I'm working in Windows 10. Any and suggestion appreciated.

Hi Michael - I am looking to use the plugin too - did you manage to figure this out?

I would say that the 3F format contains a hook to let Flexcolor software process these files. When opened in Photoshop they are treated as plain TIFF files. This allows spotting and repairs, etc. If you change the .fff suffix to .tif you can open and save as DNG files. These DNG files will not be true RAW files as such but if kept in 16bit they can be edited in Camera RAW with some success.

If you want to keep the edited files in 3f you can change the .tif back to .fff.
