So when are you going to fix the mess Adobe's created with LR Classic?

You're going to need to be more specific and create Lightroom specific topics for what you're seeing.

I understand that HDR Panorama Merge is a new feature in Lightroom CC, but I feel it's fair to expect your support team to be familiar with it. I have spent hours with them, trying to get past the import module to the develop model to at least see the action under Photos in menu bar that you show in your tutorials.  Please review the content of my support calls. After 40-minutes on a single call, I realize that I know more about it than they do! You can't really expect your subscribers to train your support staff do you? After watching one fool wave my curser all over my display for many minutes, I was literally dizzy, my only reprieves when he would continually ask me to hold "for just a moment" while he looked up the issue. Please listen to these: ADB-4394670-F5K9, ADB-2705294-P5H6 , and 20000031453356.  In every call, I eventually asked for senior or supervisor support. Twice, I agreed to appointment windows for a return call from a senior advisor; neither called. Please look up one of my three case numbers on this issue and reply to my email, text, or phone.

I read this and Adobe Photoshop forum and met many such examples where support couldn't help and either sent to this forum or users tried to find a help on that other forum. Fortunatelly regular users are better and do the job the support usually cannot. The broken promise of calling you back is offen occurence as well.

Thanks for the update. Any info on whether you will reverse the changes to shift behaviour in free transform? Or at the very least put a preference in to allow easy reversal of this behaviour? I know this is what is driving a lot of people back to CC 2018.

Proportional transform without having to hold down the Shift-key is a long awaited improvement. But the inconsistency and that da** Auto-commit are really killing the otherwise nice change totally for me.

“Long awaited” by whom? The tool is called free transform, not proportional transform. It’s messing with long established workflows for no reason and is inconsistent with many other apps (including by Adobe) that freely transform by default.

By me. If the change had been done right, no one would or could complain. But now it is just a mess.

I agree with Darran, at least gives us the option to change it back.

Just found this after a frustrating few minutes wondering why the constrain proportions button on the transform selection menu isn't working. I get it that the new "shift" shortcut is there, but people have a work flow. The key word here being "flow". Really frustrating when it is interrupted by unneccessary "improvements"!

20.0.1更新後,在lightroom邊修好的RAW 直接導入PS會變成無法編輯。需另存PSD後再重新讀入才能處理。怎麼回事呢??

Translated: After the 20.0.1 update, the RAW directly imported into the PS in the lightroom will become uneditable. You need to save the PSD and then read it again to process it. What happened??

@Jeffrey I'm seeing this too actually. I thought it was just my system so kept ignoring it to see if someone would post about it. Everything is greyed out in the menus and I cant even create a new layer. Win 10 version 1809

還有20.0.1 執行上系統消耗相當嚴重,先前做個表面模糊 CPU使用率不超過10%,更新了20.0.1 後,竟然變成100%  相當誇張

Workaround is to start Photoshop first, then start Lightroom. We're working on this issue.

#regressiontest.  It's literally taken me nearly an hour to find all the workarounds and known bugs for everything that 20.0.x broke.  This includes not handling scaling on high DPI monitors (Not new, just not fixed).  Not the first time the Lr>Ps handoff has not worked.

After installing the latest update 20.0.1 most functions in Edit, Image, Layer, Select and Filter  are grayed out if you open images into PS from Lightroom (8.0).  If you open photoshop directly and open an image from there its all OK. Unfortunately this way I can not move my adjusted /developed images from lightroom to photoshop for further processing. Looks like I'll have to uninstall the new version completely to be able to continue working...

Just installed the update but it didn't fix any of the bugs from previous version: Busy cursor while painting with brush and black pixels appearing after using liquify filter and now adding brush lag. And Yes, I did all the recommended solutions when updating to Mojave, but still never got better...

Did you do the following for macOS 10.14.1 after applying the 20.0.1 update for the blush lag?

Run the following command from the Terminal:
defaults write -g PhotoshopForceLegacyPaintMode -bool Yes
Then you have to enable Photoshop in System Preferences > Security > Accessibility

Also, make sure you have the release version of 10.14.1 update for Mojave to fix the Liquify issue.

That's two things Adobe forces users to put into terminal to retain our workflow, including the one for a return to "FREE" transform, which should REALLY be another legacy checkbox.

It says "November 2018" on the fixed issues page under "Earlier versions". I think that should be September instead!

Do you mean CC 2018 was updated to 19.1.7 version on September? Yestarday there wasn't any info about it until I asked of, and they added appropriate item, hovewer the month seems to be right as on the other page there's November 13, 2018.

We're investigating this issue. Looks like launching Photoshop first, then launching Lightroom will force this to work correctly.  Add a vote here to be notified when an update is available: Photoshop 20.0.1: Most functions in Edit, Image, Layer, Select and Filter grayed out for image opened from Lightroom Classic

How about when opening an image directly into Photoshop and not even using Lightroom and getting all grayed out menus? I am working on JPEGs and getting this problem. This workaround won't work for me in this situation. I voted on that link for notifications.

I got for E-mail JC new reply to this theard that seems to be deleted. Because I found there something interesting as I noticed that as well, I would like to put this question to those that may know about it:

After updating to PS 20.0.1 from PS 20.0.0 and experiencing a slew of new issues that I've commented on elsewhere, I just received another PS update entitled CCX Process Version 2.5.2.11. What is this for and what does it fix?

https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/why-is-ccxprocess-app-on-mac-launchpad

CCX Process is part of the background apps/processes needed for Adobe Creative Cloud. What it does exactly, I'm not sure and I haven't seen an Adobe reply regarding it.

My suspicion though is that whenever a bug happens with it, it's likely due to some permissions errors.

Thanks for the feedback Cameron. You speculations are similar to mine. Just seemed strange for it to popup in the midst of all the issues with the latest Ps, Lr, and Br releases being reported.

Right now, I'm using photoshop cc2019 on Mojave and I'm still having the same "loading circle" issue, plus it's slower(a lot of input lag too while I'm trying to draw something) than the same version on High Sierra.

Imagine if you could Non-Proportionally Transform a rectangular selection in Photoshop 2019.0.1 That would be a cool feature to have like we had in all previous versions. Transform Selection is Stuck on Proportional Only. What a Joke these Adobe Max shows are that claim “you can begin using our new version right away!” LIARS! Our company had to revert to 19.1.7... hey Adobe you owe us all some MONEY for this pain & suffering!

How proportional transform has been implemented is a real disaster for beginners and professional users, I agree. Everything that could have been done wrong, has been done wrong from in ergonomics and design here without any fall-back options. Really bad, yes.
But it is not true, that "Transform Selection is Stuck on Proportional Only", you now just need the Shift-key for non-proportional transforms.

YEP You're Right! Just tried it Thanks! However SHIFT Key.. That's ASS backwards as you inferred... I've always held shift key for Proportional Sizing in other apps or Selecting Multiple Objects, like in Illustrator. Wow Been using Photoshop as a professional for 25 years and never been this confused. Well this is my last Update PERIOD. I don't have time to retrain myself and staff. I retire in 8 years.. I'm 57 going to take Housekeeping JOB at our Local VA Medical Center. Hopefully the Brooms haven't changed too much.!  Tech has gone to the Dogs along with World Leaders. LOL!

I don't think the bug is fixed with the constrain link in toolbar. It's dead and doesn't do anything. The whole transform is a nightmare! I will remain with the 19.1.7 version forever I think! I absolutely despise the way Adobe has pushed another new version of PS which is BS and full of bugs and use us as Beta testers, because that is what it feels like. Adobe needs to pay us for fishing out the bugs for them. NOT HAPPY!

Your anger is rising. Just be careful ;) I got warning to stop posting my comments. However I considered them to be expression of truth they were taken as unapproriate. Personally I cannot accept that (whoever disliked my perspective) but as I respect other users feelings who took my opinions to be offensive I won't continue these disscusions further and say clearly what I think that is bad. I am simply disallowed to do so if I don't want to be in trouble. Good luck - you do good job, as truly presistnet and objective observer.
