I can't open the color themes panel on my updated Photoshop CC anymore. The blank panel is coming up and when I click on it, I only see the wheel of death on my macbook pro. I have to force PS to quit.

Hi,

Could you please try quitting Photoshop, then sign out and back in to the Creative Cloud app and see if that resolves it?

Thanks,
Eric

Hi Eric,
tried it, but same behavior. But connection to the creative cloud seems to work as I can get my libraries in Photoshop. Adobe Paper Texture Pro extension is also working with no probs. Just tried color themes in my old PS 2017 installation. Same behavior, only difference is that the panel freezes PS a little later (I can open the small menu before) and it is not blank grey but blank white with the symbol in the middle.

Cheers
Markus

Thanks Eric,

now it's working. I figured out that something was blocking the outgoing connection to kuler.adobe.com.

Thanks for your help.

No domain was blocked. As I want to know what‘s going out and coming in from and to my computer my network monitoring tool asked for permission to connect to kuler.adobe . But I didn‘t recognized it, so it could not connect. Seems I didn‘t used color themes on that machine before.
