Photoshop: Can't save TIFF with JPEG compression

It appears that it's no longer possible to save a TIFF with JPEG compression -- the JPEG option is always greyed out.

To reproduce the problem, create a new blank 10x10, 3-channel, opaque one-layer 8-bit RGB image.  Then do File > Save As, select format TIFF, observe that Alpha Channels and Layers are unchecked and greyed out, then click Save.    The JPEG Image Compression option is greyed out.

Tested on CC 2015.1.2 / OS X 10.11.4.  Screen shots:

Interesting -- wonder what accounts for the difference.

Did you try resetting the photoshop cc 2015 preferences?

Ah, that solves the problem, thanks very much.
