Photoshop brushes texture/sensitivity not working in brush tool but working in eraser tool

Some of my photoshop brushes are not working. In the image, I use the same brush for brush tool and eraser tool. The texture works fine when I choose the eraser but when I switched to brush tool, the brush texture is not working. Some brushes have this issue while others are not. (like 20 brushed out of 50). The brushes that have this issued will have the pen pressure sensitivity greyed out. Also, the brush sample picture is weird too. I don't know why it looks like that. Other brushes look normal.

I tried to reset my laptop/tablet and updated my Wacom/pts but it does not solve the problem.

Hey Nami,

I might be completely wrong but could it be that if you set the texture blend mode for an eraser, PS inverts it for the brush internally? Just a random thought that appeared in my head.
For example, if the eraser erases with a subtracted texture, then maybe the brush adds the texture and results in a pure opaque brush. Does anything change if you use different blend modes for the texture? This would be a very stupid behavious but who knows nowadays :D

Edit: Okay I actually just tried, and it does not do anything of that sort.
If you want, you can upload the brush somewhere and I could give it a shot here.

I don't know why this is happening, but since it's only happening with some, have you tried resetting the brush or brushes  (Reset Tool far left in Options bar)? Just a thought. Or uninstalling/reinstalling from a "fresh" set of brushes? I'm just looking for corruption or a manual override saved that is hanging around, since you've checked your Wacom and I assume your preferences in PS are fresh and clean? (If not, and you're going to try deleting them, first make sure all your presets have been saved to disk at some point.)

Looks like the presets you're using are for the Pencil Tool, not the Brush.
