Photoshop CC 2015: Artboards have an extra 1 pixel around the edge the white background.

For some reason the the white background of an artboard is not the same pixel width/height of the actual artboard that gets exported. This is absolutelly terrible when making icon sprites where the 1px is very important. Its also just annoying and seems like a bug.

Please fix

ps I miss the checkered background representing transparency.

Hi Jason, could you email me your PSD file so we can take a look? Or more details about original size of artboard, how you're exporting it, and size of exported asset? imaderyc@adobe.com

I had the same issue. There's a 1px border around the image. I've noticed this with some files (generally smaller), but not others.

This is really frustrating and causes a huge amount of problems when producing images for web — its an ongoing issue that aI have had for weeks.

In the Art Board mode it is not visible — however when you export as PNG or any other format the extra pixel appears

So a hack is to prep images for artboards x 2 pixels bigger than the artboard space.

so prepping images for example @ 2880 x 1800 would need to be 2882 X 1802 — so that when placed in the art board environment the 'pixel out' problem doesn't appear — painful work around though!
