Photoshop and Bridge: Color Settings reset by themselves

My Adobe Color Settings (Edit > Color Settings in Photoshop and Bridge) are set to specific values and saved as a color settings preset (.csf), the same preset is loaded in all Adobe applications (Bridge, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

For no apparent reason, at absolutely random moments in time, those settings revert on their own to the North America General Purpose 2 preset. Sometimes it would happen twice a day, sometimes it won't happen for weeks. It even happens when the applications are opened--no restarts, no updates, no nothing happening - they would just like that in the middle of the day.

This is extremely annoying and I end up having to save a bunch of files again to the correct color profile.

Any help would be appreciated!
