Photoshop 2020 (21.0.1) – Could not save “file name” because a file of the same name already exists.

Since upgrading to PS 2020, when saving to our server [cmd-s], I get the message
Could not save “file name” because a file of the same name already exists.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue and any idea of how I solve it? I've checked the permissions on the server and I don't get the same problem when saving to my local HD.

Currently, I'm having to save the file locally then copy to the server – which is time-consuming and a pain.

I'm not experiencing this with any other CC2020 Apps.

What is the protocol used to connect to the server?

What’s the file system of the server? Is it APFS, HFS+, NTFS, FAT etc.
