Photoshop 2017 corrupts file created in previous version

I just installed Photoshop 2017.
Upon opening a document created in Photoshop 2015.5, almost everything is transparent.

Zooming in brings back some of the parts of the document, but never everything (see screenshots at different zoom levels).

I saved the file this way, and now it's also only showing parts of the image in the thumbnail in Finder, as well as in Preview.

I was able to get back the old version of the file through Google Drive's version management. I also installed the old version of Photoshop (2015.5) alongside the new version, so I can work on my projects for now. (I'm really grateful for that functionality, by the way)

Howdy Ben,My first impression is that this might be a problem with your GPU. As the app evolves, we sometimes drop earlier cards due to inconsistency problems. A quick check would be to go to your Preferences > Performance and turn off GPU usage. Reboot the app and see if the problem persists. I would be curious as to the results either way as well as what video card you're using.Hope that helps,Thanks,David
