Elements 13: Photomerge panorama defective in elements 13

photomerge panorama in elements 13 inferior to panorama in elements 12. While elements 12 will line up all features along a seam, 13 will only line up the first and last, features between will have noticeable "jags" in them. I have examples.

Can you post a link to the set of images used to create the pano and the resulting pano for us to take a look at?

Above are excerpts from the panoramas, but this isn't the best example. I first noticed this on a different set, but when I tried to reproduce it last night, I couldn't, PE12 and PE13 gave the same results. I find this truly odd as you expected deterministic results from computers--same input, same operations, same result (leading me to believe that somehow photomerge in PE12 got changed between then and now, but if it did, I don't know how. PE13 did update during that time period, but not PE12). But, I still have the image that I put together in Dec of last year, but can't replicate now. Maybe you can explain it.
