ELEMENTS 14 - Photomerge not working

I have just purchased PE14 and can't get Photomerge to work. I can select three photos, but only two of these are stitched together. Photomerge used to work ok in my PE11, but not anymore. I have tried to reset preferences, I have tried it from "Guided" and the "Photo Bin" Method, but no Joy. I am running on Dell XPS Quad with 12Gb Ram, on windows 10. This is obviously a Bug, and would like to know when it will be fixed?

The image you are showing may be the kind where stitching two particular shots is difficult based on the absence of similar zones of detail.
There is no problem to stitch more than two pictures at the same time, so the question might be if you can stitch the same pictures with the older Elements version. (If you do many panoramas, keeping the old version may be the solution.)

Thanks for that, I think the 3 pictures I am trying to stich are different enough in detail to work. As for the older version (11) I still have this but it will not stich the three photos. It will be interesting to see if it will work with 3 different pics.

As an (amateur) photographer and not specially into landscapes, doing panoramas is something I like to do for the fun from time to time. That means I don't have a lot of panos made in PSE14 today, but I have only found once the problem to merge two images in a set of five. There was enough detail, but not enough 'overlapping'; I checked in an older PSE version (don't remember which) and I got the same problem.
I also hope that the panorama feature will be better handled (and easier to use) in future versions. That said, I am very happy with the quality of the result when you know how to deal with the selection of files in the photo bin and with the 'vertical' pictures.

Trying various fixes this morning without success. I have checked the overlap on all three pictures and there is sufficient for photomerge to work. I have altered brightness and contrast etc. in the hope that this would help with overlap detection. I have tried also PE11 again and still only get the first two of three pictures stitched. I think it is the case that the photomerge feature is broken in PE14, and Adobe needs to fix it. I will today get out and take various photos to stitch, just to confirm that this is the case. Thank you for your replies.
