I am a long time user of the techniques taught by Dan Margulis, who, I believe, to be the foremost expert on color on the planet. Retouching in Lightroom has improved immensely in recent times and I'm approaching the place where I can achieve results almost as good as I can in Photoshop using Dan's techniques. A significant remaining impediment, however, is that it is totally impossible to read and evaluate color in the RGB color space. Therefore, for color adjustments, the RGB readout in the Histogram panel is completely and utterly useless. Why not provide a switch or a preference to change this readout to the LAB color space? Or just provide both. With just that small addition, the ability to enhance photos in Lightroom would be seriously upgraded.
