Photoshop subscription - doesn't support Vista

My son has given me a subscription to photo shop . I tried to download the programme but a prompt indicated that Adobe didn't support Vista.
What are my options please? Found the site very difficult as a first timer..

You need at least Windows 7 to run current software (from most companies).

Thank you for your prompt reply Chris. I am now retired and my PC works fine. I didn't really want to spend money just because of an additional piece of software. Do I take it that it won;t install at all or will install but with some limited function.

The current releases will not install at all on Vista.
That applies to products from many companies at this time.

I haven't done it, but try using the older CS6 version instead of the CC download. I understand that version should be available to you on subscription too.
