Photo preview not loaded when originals are on NAS

I store all photo originals on a NAS (local network, QNAP NAS, accessed by AFP from Mac). Sometimes I connect to NAS via ethernet (very fast connection), sometimes via WiFi (can be slow).

I open Detail view and begin swithing between photos back and forth (e.g. to compare two variants).

When I connected to the NAS via Wi-Fi, previews eventually (2-3 iterations) stop loading,  e.g. no reaction to photo change, a previous/older photo is shown.

No such behaviour when I'm on ethernet (fast access) or when I'm disconnecting NAS at all (even with very slow interned access).

I believe it's a bug, because even if NAS access is slow, LR should behave at least as good as when downloading source photo from internet (in fact, my Wi-Fi is still faster than downloading source from cloud).

All smart previews are on HDD.

Here is the summary table:

-------------------------------
NAS Eth | NAS Wi-Fi | No NAS |
-------------------------------
Ok     | No preview| Ok
LR CC 1.5
MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6

Alexey, You sent me a diagnostic log on a separate issue. By any chance were the previews missing when that log was created?

Additionally, can you use this document to verify the setup of your NAS? https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-cc/using/preferences.html#store-originals-network-drive

I think LR was working fine at that moment. Usually when previews are "stuck" I close Lightroom, disconnect the volume and restart. it's difficult to work otherwise.

To clarify the case a little bit: previews are not in fact missing, rather they stop loading. Same for metadata, btw. If I  restart LR and pick the same photo (being on Wi-Fi and NAS enabled), it will show the preview. But again, 3-5 fast selections and previews are stuck.

Looks like LR is waiting to read all the files somewhere in the queue. I even believe they eventually will load, but when move I move selection, that imaginary queue is again filled with photos.

This doesn't happen with cloud (without NAS volume mounted) even on very slow connection (because in fact smart previews are read from my local SSD).

Yes, the NAS setup should be ok.

In that case, you should induce a state where the previews don't load and send me another Full Report diagnostic log.

Pls find LrDiagnostics-stuck-previews.zip in the same shared folder ("LRCC-diagnostic"). Tried to catch the moment when preview of the current image wasn't shown for ~5 seconds.
