Photo Downloader and El Capitan

Since upgrading to El Capitan on my iMac (2011) I have found that the downloader will not recognise any external device. I typically connect my camera by USB and download my images to Photoshop Bridge. Now my camera isn't recognised I have to use Apples "Image Capture". Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Yes, MacOS 10.11 has some well known problems connecting to cameras and phones, affecting many applications.

Do you guys realize how many customers this is affecting?!?!?!?!?!
For every message posted across all forums and support problems, there are probably hundreds who just don't know how to post and are suffering in silence.
Problems like these have been reported in PREVIOUS versions of Bridge and Organizer.

Please provide an update to all Bridge and Organizer with what the heck you are doing and when it will be fixed.

You have a slew of users who would do testing for you.

Do you know how to get Apple attention? I searched their support and found 1 question answered with basically the same explanation you provided.

Thanks for your info. I guess it will be resolved in time, especially if others experience the same issue.
I will have to continue with image capture in the meantime. My workflow includes conversion from CR2 files to DNG. It now means it takes two separate operations.
