I have been working on a drawing in photoshop for hours now and after using the magic wand tool, my picture has completely disappeared! The preview is still showing up in the layers tab and flashes on the screen for a moment when I zoom in and out but is nowhere to be found on the canvas. :( Please help me.

Turn your ruler off, then turn off and then on the visibility of each layer. I've found the ruler causes me all kinds of graphics issues intermittently. I only turn the ruler on long enough to do what I have to do with it and then I turn it off again. See if that all helps.

Howdy Jaelynne,

Have you tried turning your GPU support off to see if the problem goes away.  If that makes a difference, then it means your video card driver needs to be updated or your hardware has issues.

Hope that helps -- happy to answer more questions if it doesn't,
