I recently upgraded to the latest PS version. Now, when I go from Lightroom to PS to edit, when it opens in PS, it is as if the clarity and sharpness has been significantly reduced. It's soft and kind of hazy. What is causing this, and how can I stop it?

What OS version are you using?
Double check your settings in Lightroom to make sure it is exporting the resolution that you expect.

OS X Yosemite.

I don't see in LR where to set the export resolution. I did go in and say "restore export" to factory defaults. But a test "edit in PS" shows that the photo again opened in SP dimmer and less clarity. Other thoughts?

Without knowing what you mean by "dimmer and less clarity", no.
It could be a problem with color settings in LR or PS, or your display profile, or your video card driver, etc.

Dimmer = not as bright.
Less clarity = reduce sharpness, with a hazy appearance. (as if in LR you slide your clarity adjustment to the left)

This did not happen when I was using the prior version of PS. It only started when I downloaded the latest version a couple of days ago. Can you check to see if other photographers are having the same issue with this latest PS version?

Because this problem only presented itself when I downloaded the 2015 version of PS cc, I want to go back to using the previous version of PS cc 2014. I reinstalled PS CC 2014, but when I am in LR, and say Photo > Edit in > it only gives me the option of editing in the CC 2015. How do I make it edit in the older PS version?

I also tried to "uninstall" the PS CC 2015, but it wouldn't let me do it. If I can uninstall the 2015 version, please let me know how.
