Good morning.
Why my photoshop ps4 don't work with good performance?
I tested same variants of setting.
I've win 10.
When I work, gradually photoshop become very slow, but I've 16 giga of ram and a new processor.

Hi Paolo,

Are you actually running Photoshop CS4?  If so, that's a very old application and it was never designed to run on Windows 10.  Heck, CS4 came out even before Windows 7.  Have you considered upgrading to a newer version?

Beyond that, have you checked your scratch disk space compared to the size of the file you're working with?  Also, are you running another process in the background?  Do you have auto-save active?

Thanks,
David

David, I also run PS CS4 only because I have to have Picture Package for my business. I am looking at a new rig with Windows 10, do you know if I will be able to run PS CS4?

Ciao David.
Yes, I have scratch disk ok,
I have a old version of photo (cs2) and that it's without problems.
I don't know where is the auto-save setting, but I save ussually with CTRL+S.

Thanks for your attention!
Paolo.

Ps: sorry for my bad english...

The Creative Cloud applications are all designed to work with Windows 10 and tested accordingly.  Plus, they have a zillion new features!  8-)

Enjoy!
