Hi there!
Does Lightroom 4.2 RC have better performance than earlier 4.1
I really think Lightroom 4.1 need a performance upgrade of some sort.. Its faster to review, edit and publish with Bridge and PS, thats wrong! Completely waste of time and money.. Speed issues are most present in Develop-module, but overall slow interface occurs often.. Hope this will be fixed soon before (i hate to say this) people turn to DxO or Corel... Don't believe me? Check google.. 1000's of unhappy users who can't deal with the slow interface.. 3.6 was much snappier... And don't come here and show me the "tricks" to speed up the interface, have tried _everything_.. Meantime you fix this, then I've got to use Bridge/PS6.. LR4 is a no-go.

If you want the computers specs, no problem.. You're going to fall of the chair if I list the hardware, its passing by the "recommended" hardware many times, so there are no HW issues either..

Hope so. I didn't see anything about that on news/changes.

And the answer (having used 4.2 for a whole afternoon) is......

Nope,

4.2 still runs like a snail, just like 4.1 (64-bit).

Then I'll post a claim to get my money back and off to buy other software.. Have waited for months for this update, and nothing is done to interface speed.. Adobe is more interested to add functions than fixing things, thats sad.. Cost less money prob..

Please forgive, but your comments:

"I tried everything", and
"there are no HW issues"

- may not be correct.

I'll leave it at that.
