THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF THINGS WRONG WITH THE PEN TOOL IN PHOTOSHOP 2015!!!!!!!!!!! IT IS SO BAD THAT PATHS AND LINE STROKING IS NOT EVEN POSSIBLE, I COULD DO THAT *SAME* *EXACT* THING 20 TIMES AND THE PEN TOOL WILL DO SOMETHING *DIFFERENT* EACH TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I CLICK A SPOT TO ADD AN ANCOR, BUT CLICKING ANYWHERE ELSE DOES *NOTHING* BUT DOES BUILD UP IN THE STEP BACKWARDS, TRY AGAIN, I GET LIKE FOUR LINES WITH *ONLY* ADDING A SECOND ANCOR. UNDO ALL TRY AGAIN, NOW IT IS ADDING ANCOR POINTS WITH A PLUS SIGN WHEN THAT TOOL *ISN'T* EVEN SELECTED. CLICKING THE "DELETE ANCOR POINT" TOOL *STILL* ADDS ANCHOR POINTS!!!!!! DELETE ALL WITH STEP BACKWARDS AND NOW IT *WILL NOT* LET ME SHAPE ANY LINES, IT JUST CREATES A NEW LINE RIGHT NEXT TO THE ANCHOR POINT I TRIED TO MORPH!!!, TRY AGAIN, NOW WHEN I TRY TO MORPH A LINE, IT *AUTOMATICALLY* CONNECTS WITH A THIRD LINE!!!!!! TRY AGAIN, DRAGGING NOW ONLY CREATES LINES IN BOTH DIRECTIONS!!!!!!!! CLICKING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LINE DOES NOT LET ME MORPH IT, IT EITHER ADDS AN ANCHOR POINT AND GIVE A RANDOM LINE FROM A RANDOM ANCHOR POINT OR JUST MOVES THE ENTIRE LINE

ACCORDING TO GOOGLE MOST OF THESE ARE BUGS IN VARIOUS PREVIOUS RELEASES OF PHOTOSHOP

*EVERYBODY* SAYS BUGS WERE FIXED WITH THE PEN TOOL IN PHOTOSHOP 2015, BUT THE TRUTH IS IT HAS *EVERY* BUG KNOWN TO PHOTOSHOP FROM ALL VERSIONS IN 2015!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, the Pen Tool has gone into major idiot mode. Drives me nuts every day, makes me feel like I'm newbie. No idea what specifically has been done to it but it's a major pain in the ass now.

I think the retina display is the issue.  Too many pixles.  My iMac at home (non retina late 2011 model) works fine.  My office iMac (retina late 2015 model) does not...

OK, the first thing you need to do is get rid of that broken keyboard.  That broken shift/CAPS LOCK makes your text very difficult to read.

Then describe the problems you are seeing with details so we can understand what you are referring to.

Hey Chris, here's my first question about the Pen Tool's behavior I need clarity on.

First example.

1. You're in the midst of drawing a new path, just simply tracing an object, and you place your next anchor point.

2. Then, for whatever reason you decide to delete the last placed anchor, i.e., snapped to guide you didn't intend, mouse randomly jumped erratically, etc., it then selects every existing anchor in the path. PLEASE explain this for starters.

3. You try to continue drawing but now it starts a new unconnected path? Why? This is counterintuative and counterproductive. You have to repeatedly go back and select the last anchor over again just to simply carry on drawing.

The Pen Tool has an obsession with constantly selecting all anchor points. I want to understand the ideology behind this before anything else. Even though a video would be better, I'll take some screenshots to try an show you what I mean exactly.

1. Drawing a simple path. All is fine.

2: Add next anchor. Still, all is fine.

3: Delete new anchor and immediately all the existing anchors have been selected like I changed to Direct Select Tool. WHY?

4: Continue drawing path but now immediately DESELECTS all existing anchors and starts a disconnected new section.
