Lightroom: PDF-Slideshow-Settings for transitions inappropriate

I have two problems with exporting a set of pictures to a PDF slideshow:

The first is that LR allows to use fading and automatic transitions (i.e. give pictures a fixed duration) together. But I'd like a mode where the transition is smooth (fading), but not automatically triggered, allowing me to switch to the next picture manually when I've finished talking. (Or in PDF terms: set the /Trans but not the /Dur in the page dictionaries. )

A second problem is that LR generates PDFs with /Trans and /Dur even if I deselect the slide length option (sorry, don't know how it's english name is, I use a german version where it is called "Dialänge").

You can fix this in Adobe Reader (or Acrobat) after you've set the transitions you want and created the slideshow PDF.
1. Open the PDF
2. Press Escape if necessary to stop the slideshow and make the menus available
3. Select Edit-Preferences-Full Screen
4. If not already checked, checkmark "Current Document Only"
5. If checked, uncheck "Advance after every X Seconds"
6. Review the other settings on the screen and set to your liking.
7. Click OK and save your changes

Hope that helps.

Well, it helps more or less. I do know how to and have my own software to modify PDF files as wanted. But that was not my intention. I wanted to create correct PDFs directly without an additional workaround.

Hadmut, I've switched this to a feature request so that other people can also vote for this feature. At the moment it's working as expected, but it's certainly a good request.
