I can't finde the options for the PDF settings, when I export a layer composition.
It seems like photoshop is just using some standart PDF settings and I get no pop-up to change the pdf settings like usual.

Also it automatically sets the resulting PDF to fullscreen presentation, which is even more anoying.

Hi Christian, currently isn't a UI to control this. I would suspect you could modify the Layer Comps to PDF script to change the PDF standard type to something different (e.g PDFX1a)

I am not sure, but if I understand it right, Adobe doesnt offer this function as a script anymore, but moved it to the new "export" feature (where are no settings, as I stated)

If you can find the correct script in Photoshop CC2015 please tell me,
perhabs I am just blind.

It really bugs me, how unpolished and rushed CC2015 is. I Find anoyances and bugs every day, like they don't even use their own software or don't care.
Good to be a monopol -_-

Hi Christian,

The Layer Comps to PDF script is still in CC 2015, it was just moved from the Scripts menu to the Export menu. The functionality of the Layer Comps to PDF is the same as all prior versions. There have never been more PDF settings options than "Encoding" and "Quality" that I know about.

Is your main concern about it opening in full screen? You can open the resulting PDF in Acrobat and select File>Properties... and choose "Initial View" and uncheck "Open in Full Screen Mode"

Thanks Jeffrey,
but I know where the function is now, as I said in my post. But there are no preferences available.

It's export -> layer composition as pdf
then a windows pops up, where I can choose the destination and and if I like to loop the presentation. That's it.

The fullscreen start is anoying, but not the main problem. If I want to push out a quick pdf presentation of my layer compositions for a client, I cant send them >20MB PDFs for 10x 720p JPGs every time.
Guess I have to keep saving my composition by hand and put the single images manually into a pdf file, which i can compress properly.

Amazing. A year later, still no update to adress this. Adobe really doesnt care since they released CC.
