Pasting Vector Problem onto Photoshop

When I copy a vector shape from illustrator and paste it to photoshop, then it normally asks me in which type I'd paste vector such as a flatten image, a smart object or a shape layer.

But recently, when I paste vector onto photoshop, it is automatically pasted as a smart object without asking pasting option.

Is this a bug?
Could you help me that I can paste a shape layer as I used to do it?

»Is this a bug?«
So far that does not seem likely to me.

What are your Illustrator > Preferences > File Handling & Clipboard settings?

Boilerplate-text:
Are Photoshop and OS fully updated and have you performed the usual trouble-shooting routines (trashing prefs by keeping command-alt-shift/ctrl-alt-shift pressed while starting Photoshop after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved and making a note of the Preferences you’ve changed, 3rd party plug-ins deactivation, system maintenance, cleaning caches, font validation, etc.)?
