Premiere Elements: Pan&Zoom-windows hard to resize

I find it impossible to drag Pan&Zoom-windows to their desired size (and place) in one go in Premiere Elements 11. You can drag the window only for a bit, then you have to let go of the window's corner, before you're able to grab the same (or a different) corner again for a second go. I often need five to seven passes to finally get the Pan&Zoom-window to the desired size – it really annoys me and hurts my hand.
This is regardless of the mouse I use (I've tried my 2011 iMac's Magic Mouse and a Logitech USB-mouse): I run Premiere Elements 11 on an iMac (OSX 10.7.5, 2.5GHz Intel Core i5, 4 GB RAM).

Thanks for your inputs. I see what you mean. What we allow is a fixed proportion resize. This is a limitation of any feature that has an on-monitor editing capability and which tries to retain the aspect ratio of the frame. With these controls, this is the best editing that is possible and you really can change the position and size of the window according to your needs in iterations.

We will see if this can be changed for more control in future releases.
