With Fireworks officially being discontinued other than security bugs for now, one of the main features of Fireworks is the ability to have Pages (and Master Pages).

It's a great feature as I can design an entire website multiple templates in one file, and the file is usually very small. Well under a MB. Where is my counter part designers do the exact same site but of course save each page as a separate PSD and each are very large files.

Photoshop does have a feature called Comps... which some have attempted to try to hack as a Pages alternative for now, however that is meant for working on one page, that it slightly different. For instance one template but having multiple comps, each with a different header color for instance.

Adding the Fireworks Pages feature would be great however the only problem is since it doesn't currently exist I'm not sure how it would be backwards compatible. And being able to have Pages won't help if when I give the file to other designers/coders or client and they are unable to open it since they don't have the very latest Photoshop version. A possible solution would be having Pages but then have a legacy export option which would automatically export all pages into separate files for the client/other coders. And at least the original would have the benefit of being in one file and sharing elements in the master page.
