Photoshop: Page set up is missing

Page set up is no longer available under the Print command in Photoshop cc 2019 (vs CS5). Supposedly we can change the image size but then you have to remember not to save it, as the whole image loses resolution and I just need to print a copy for my lab notebook while preserving high quality for publication and presentations. Alternatively you can move the image to one side in the preview print window, find a corner and drag it to <8" width so it fits on the page, but you have to do that several times for a big file and it takes 10x longer than simply selecting print at 25%. Please put back the old "page set up, print at x%" option!

Hi,
Can you post a screen shot of your print window? We haven't removed the size by percentage option. Also, which Printer  and OS are you using?

-Thanks

Thanks for your rapid response Tom! I'm using OS10.14.6 (Mac OS Mojave) and a Ricoh MP C4505ex printer (which shows up as "generic postscript printer" in the printers & scanners menu.

I attached the print window screen shots. Also if I click on print settings, there is no option to scale the page as a %. Furthermore, in the paper-handling menu, if I click the "scale to fit" box, it doesn't actually do anything.

Did this start when you upgraded to CC2019 from CS5? Did you change your OS version too?

One thing I would try if you haven't, delete your printer from System Preferences and then reconnect to it.

I had to upgrade Photoshop because I got the new OS, since CS5 apparently doesn't work on this OS. I followed your suggestion of deleting and reinstalling the printer, to no avail.
