I am filing consumer complaint with Attorney General office, based on the email that I received from Adobe, notifying me that all of my jpeg photos have been sent to "Revel". I was given exactly 12 minutes to opt-out, via email, at 5:42 a.m.

Susan-

I am sorry you are unhappy about the move. Email notices went out on 2/22 to free and paying users of Photoshop.com and also was posted on social media. Additional emails followed. Some users had forwarded our emails to spam and therefore saw the news later than others.

Because a decision was made to discontinue Photoshop.com sharing and storage, we gave users the option to have them moved to Revel rather than having all of their efforts deleted. Users who had files on Adobe Photoshop.com Sharing and storage cloud site who did not opt out, did or will have their files placed in Adobe Revel (another Adobe cloud sharing and storage service) by 6/18.

This was not done to upset customers, but rather was done as a convenience for customers so that they did not have to go to the effort of downloading from the one site and uploading to another since that can be very time consuming. Revel is a free account that you login to with the same credentials as you did on Photoshop.com. Although Revel is not a replacement for Photoshop.com (it has more of a focus on sharing between devices), it is an alternative. If you would rather archive your photos and not use Revel, that is certainly your choice. We would hate to see you do that without even trying Revel though.

I should also clarify that the files were not actually moved, but rather copied to Revel for you. They will remain on Photoshop.com sharing and storage also until 6/18, when it closes.

The files on Photoshop.com can be archived using our media downloader found at this site: http://www.photoshop.com/misc/members...

An FAQ regarding the downloader is available here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/117428...
