Photoshop CC 2015.1: Outer glow no longer respects gradient opacity

It seems that outer glows, when set to use a gradient, no longer respect the opacity stops in the gradient.I am using Photoshop 2015.1.

Thank you. I've noticed that the problem seems to apply specifically to the leftmost and rightmost stops.

Comparing 2014 and 2015, this appears to be working the same. Would you be able to provide sample files that render differently between versions?

I don't have 2014 installed any more, it's possible that it was a problem back then that I didn't notice. I attached a screenshot and PSD that clearly demonstrates the bug.

I would expect the glow around the object to be very narrow as I've dragged the rightmost stop just a few % away from the leftmost stop, but it renders as if it was at the 100% position.

I can reproduce it in CS5.1



This bug is probably much older.
