OSX: How to resize Photoshop when it opens with the application title bar off screen due to unplugging an external monitor?

I have a retina mbp and an external ips display which is positioned at the 2 o-clock position relative to the mac. When I unplug the external display, which is at a higher res than the mbp, the photoshop window moves back to the MPB display so that the application title bar - the part with the stoplight controls and title are now off the top of the screen. There is no way to find or press the green button to force the application to resize. There appears to be no "Zoom" option on the Window menu. Moving my mouse over the edges of the window also does not give me the typical window resize hint and dragging the window edge does not resize it.
