Lightroom: Option to assign the same date/time to multiple pictures at once

In Lr 3.4 when I modifiy the capture date & time to multiple pictures (using the "adjust capture time" command) each following picture gets an offset by the date/time difference of the first picture. For pictures of digital cameras this is fine. However, scanned images usually have the date/time assigned when they were scanned (= digitized) and not when they are captured. When I use "adjust capture time" to adjust the date, the time then is increased for each photo which is undesirable because the capture time is usually unknown (so I set it to 00:00:00 for scanned photos).
Currently I really need to assign the data/time to each photo separately which is quite a pain.

It's a good request, but in the meantime, you might find this plug-in useful: http://www.photographers-toolbox.com/...
