Lightroom CC mobile: Option to turn off focus peaking in manual mode (iOS)

I prefer using the manual "professional" mode when using the Lightroom Mobile app, more recently when I try to touch to focus or EV lock on a certain point, and focus peaking is automatically activated. I find it quite distracting, and not particularly useful. Since the depth of focus on my iPhone SE is very large, nearly every hard edge is green, even when it is not in critical focus. It makes it actually harder to judge what is truly in focus than if the peaking were turned off. It also makes it difficult to focus and recompose, because rather than having the scene fully visible, everything is obscured by the edge masking. I am sure some people find this useful, and perhaps it works better on other phones, but I would very much appreciate some way to just turn it off without having to resort to the automatic modes.
Thank you!

I can't reproduce this, but I may be missing a step. In the buttons along the bottom, is the focus one (2nd from the right) set to Auto Focus or are you manually focusing (you mentioned tapping to focus)?

Hi Victoria, thank you for the help. The focus is in auto mode, but when I touch a spot and hold to lock the focus, Lightroom goes into this peaking mode. I just want it to lock the focus without this peaking display. If I stay in auto mode, the camera just continually refocuses, so it is not possible to focus and recompose, for example. You can do this by locking the focus manually, but then you are stuck with this green peaking display which makes it harder to evaluate the composition. I just want a setting to turn off peaking. That's it. The earlier versions did not have the peaking (that I remember), and that is all I want...a setting to turn it off.
