Lightroom: Option to ignore face detection for out of focus faces or when there are more than X # of people in the photo

I manage a very large archive of photos for a university. We are constantly adding photos from events and a lot of these events have speakers with audiences. Lightroom has been catching all of the faces in the background (i.e. the audience), and it's not particularly helpful when I have 50+ photos of the crowd with the focus on the speaker or on a person sitting in the front row.
Face detection is VERY helpful for archives such as the one that I manage due to lack of metadata in previous shoots or to help me quickly log all important faces when I import.
