Photoshop CC 2017: Option key sticks when selecting clone source

When using the bush, clone tool, healing brush, or any other tool which allows for sampling of an area, when I press the Option key to bring up the sample target and then let go, the target remains.  I usually have to press and release the option key 4-5 times before the it reverts back to the tool.  Tested with USB keyboard, bluetooth keyboard, and MacBook Pro internal keyboard.  Mac OS 10.12.1, PS CC 2017.0.1

Similar issue for me, the same tools, but they do not select the targeted area with Option key press to sample.

Are any of you using Wacom tablets?  We had that same issue and the it ended up being faulty drivers for our Wacom Intuos Pro tablets.  We ended up having to revert back to a driver from 2015 to get Photoshop working properly again.  We are using version 6.3.15-1.  This version can be downloaded here: http://cdn.wacom.com/u/productsupport/drivers/mac/professional/WacomTablet_6.3.15-1.dmg

Thanks for the Wacom suggestion- they recently updated the driver for my Intuos 2 and that solved the issue. So many issues to snuff out.
