Photoshop: Ability to select and open more than one file at a time from the Recent Files list in the Start Screen

Most of the Adobe Tools have a great opening screen which displays thumbnails of recent documents. Often I work on multiple assets at the same time. I love the visual of opening photoshop and right there seeing the recent files I've worked on. But you can only choose one, and open only have that visual "recent docs" screen if you have nothing else open.

Please make it so I can drag over multiple recent file thumbnails and open a few of them at a time. Often these are spread all over and it's a really helpful feature to have that Recent docs screen.

Example below of a recent set of files I'm working on. It would be great to choose multiples and open them all at once. Although they look the same, they are in lots of various folders for different client tickets.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Photoshop - opening page - open many files on the same time?.

Being an artist and a Photoshop user since 1990 I love images BUT not so much text...

So when the new opening page with files in the form of small thumnails appeared I was very happy. Now I could see directly what I had been working with recently and have a choise of what pictures to continue to work with.

But there is one thing I am missing. I would like to be able to have a choise of many images and then open them up all at once

So is it possible to have a choice of more than one image from the thumbnails of the new opening page, to open at the same time? And if possible rearrange the them i.e. sorting them in your own order.

PS and if so I would also be very happy if I could change the size of the thumnails so I really can see how my work evolve over time (plus more thumnails maximum today is 100) DS
