Trying to edit two photos from Lightroom in Photoshop. This functionality is no longer working, again. It worked a couple of times after it was last reported as fixed, but no longer.

Strange, this is a basic link in LR.
On the picture, you clic right, you get a drop down menu, within this menu there is a function called "modify in" you clic on that function then you get another drop down menu. At the very first line of it, you have a function called "Modify in Photoshop......" clic on it. You must open PS and get the image in it.

If this don't work, have a look to the following:

Open the "preferences" of your catalogue
Go to "External Edition"
This gives you a window within there is a first greed square with the title "Modify in Adobe Photoshop +...."
Look if this square if correctly filled in

Fixed! Turned out to be an issue with some start-up applications that needed to be deleted. 2 hours with Adobe and 1 hour with Apple to sort it out.

Could you post the resolution here? I'm experiencing a similar issue.

After narrowing down the issue with Adobe Support (they created a new user account and got the product to work) I was told to call Apple and have them help fix my user account. Apple support had me start my laptop in safe-mode. Again the product worked. Apple Support then walked me through some steps to delete a couple of start up that apparently were causing the issue. I would suggest you start with Adobe Support and go from there. This seems to have fixed my issue.
