Opened files in Photoshop CC all appeared black on screen -

Then I tried uninstalling and then I restarted my computer and then reinstalled Photoshop CC. When I opened files, they all appeared black on screen. Well, actually if it's a JPEG file, it's black (on the small  layer window on the right of the screen, it still shows the picture, but the picture on the main screen is black.

Hi there,

Which version of Photoshop CC are you using?
Please check that you have the latest update of Photoshop CC 19.1. You may refer this article https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/uptodate.html#CheckUpdates to check the version you are using.
Also, try to disable graphics processor usage in the Photoshop preferences to see whether the problem is related to GPU or not.
  • Under the Preferences > Performance menu in Photoshop, Uncheck  the option "Use Graphics Processor".
  • Restart Photoshop and see if that helps.
Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,
Akash

Glad to know it's working fine. :)
But, this means that your GPU is outdated and needs to be updated. Please refer https://helpx.adobe.com/in/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-gpu-graphics-card.html and let us know if that helps.

    Thanks,
    Akash
