Do you also use a MacBook, I was on El capitan, now I'm on OSX Sierra, alway latest version. I experience the same pb of crashes and hangs with Elements 14. My purchase has demonstrated to be a total waste of money and Adobe never responds on this Photoshop Family site, though I'm sure they monitor, on Facebook group also no serious response, just a reference to on-line help. I also Twittered in the public domain, there they suddenly did respond, seems they do not like the public exposure, a "specialist" would contact me, but didn't, I went on-line again, same response and the specialist didn't react again. It seems to be a battle between Apple and Adobe....BUT Adobe lists under system requirements the Mac OSX's as compatible. Its 100 Euro down the drain and on top a mess in my files as I exported from Aperture to Organizer.....
So in case you have any clue whats going on or where to get real help, please post here.
OK. I spilled my guts on Adobe

Adobe offers NO technical support for Elements products. They say so. Most inquiries here receive no answers. My Organizer 15 crashes every time. There is no interest by Adobe. They want to sell stuff, not support stuff.

My old PSE 13 crashes regularly. I would love to know why, and how to fix it. Does Adobe expect me to quit PSE and go straight Photoshop?

Adobe is on break right now. I do see people here getting help with PSE from Adobe, so I know they try to respond. However, without your system information, and crash logs if you have any, there's not a whole lot they can do. You might want to post as much information as you can. Some of the non-Adobe folk here know a lot about troubleshooting, as well.
