Express: Can't open DNG files (Android)

I want to open some RAW (DNG) files. In the Google Play store it says "RAW photo support: Import and edit photos in RAW format". The list of files it will open includes "Raw files: arw (SONY), cr2 (CANON), crw (CANON), dng,..." However when I open the App I get a choice of "Open from Adobe Revel", "Take a Picture ", and "Open from Gallery", none of which show DNG (or any RAW) files on my phone. Access to a list of files, rather than (or as well as) a photo App is needed.

Hi Roger,
PSExpress support Raw file import from Revel. Upload files to your Revel account and import it from there into PS Express.

It seems very long winded - upload the photo on your device to Adobe Revel and then download it back to your device. Unfortunately Revel can't find DNG files on my Android devices, and the only way is to copy to my Windows 7 PC and use Revel on there. I carry a phone with me, not a desktop computer.
Please allow Photoshop Express and Revel to see DNG fileson Android devices.

Opening of Raw files is not supported from Creative Cloud. You can open it from Revel. Since Android Gallery app doesnt support Raw files, PSX could not open it from local drive.

Thanks for the info. I have my ravel installed in m mobile.. But I m surprised that there seems no option to move my asset in creative cloud into ravel. I have now 3 apps on my mobile, but no way to edit a raw file which is my local and in my creative cloud.

I found one way to do this (but no thanks to Adobe)
Install ES File Explorer File Manager (some other managers may work as well).
Navigate to the DNG file (DON'T look using the images search) and open the file in Photoshop Express

File Commander will also allow you to open DNG files using PSX. I still would prefer having a built in file browser in PSX that knows to look at various RAW files, but at least this is a workaround so you don't have to upload a file only to download it again.
